Hello Azwath,

I agree with you. I am a new customer implementing AFS. At first, the consultant team proposed to our company to adopt MTO setup to cover majority of our OEM business. However, this have problem in meeting our business scenario that, many of our customer keep switching SKU quantities between their customer POs to us (although the total buying quantity of the SO remain unchanged). We were facing with the situation that the MRP will keep generating new Planned Orders because of the MTO setup, which makes no sense to us.
Later the consultant team proposed for MTS setup. But they advised Allocation Run must be performed under this setup, and we will end up not able to over-ship. It is truly a dilemma.

Edward

Hi,

I have a peculiar situation. I have some 8000 grids available for sale for an item. Each dimension is basically a combination of three colors but I run into 8000 of them. Any idea how I should set up this as setting up all the dimenions is a cumbersome process?

Thanks & Regards,
Dadi

It is very nice to view your blog, not only the SAP part, but also the one that you wrote about your motherland was united.

I am working as SAP IS Retail consultant(MM,SD), and I wonder how different between IS Retail and AFS? Do you have some comment for me?

Thanks
