AFS, is it a Industry specific product by SAP?

Above is an interesting question I have been asked by many people. It is very annoying when someone ask me this simply because I know it is a IS product by SAP. People ask this question since they do not find AFS in the standard IS list from SAP on their site. Actually I faced the same problem when I was doing a research on apparel and footwear solution.
